The Circuit Mug translates mathematical patterning into functional, everyday art. Each mug begins with a Truchet-inspired algorithm—curved, interconnected paths that echo the logic of circuit boards, maze networks, and signal flow. No two patterns repeat, making every Circuit Mug a genuinely unique piece.
Printed layer by layer in California using locally sourced clay, each form carries a distinctive wavelike surface that catches light and glaze in organic, unexpected ways. The amber-to-sky-blue gradient glaze enhances the motion of the circuitry, highlighting ridges, curves, and the geometry beneath.
Whether used daily or displayed as sculptural decor, the Circuit Mug stands at the intersection of code, clay, and craftsmanship.

Infinite Variation
Truchet Tiles
Inspired by 18th-century Truchet tiles, these mugs use procedural algorithms to build flowing, circuit-like paths around the form. Each rotation of the tile changes the pattern, ensuring every mug emerges with its own distinct rhythm and character.
Stay cool on the outside and warm on the inside
Double Wall Insulation
The Circuit Mug is built with two layers of clay, creating a hidden air pocket between the inner and outer walls. This natural insulation keeps your drink hotter for longer while preventing the outside surface from becoming too hot to touch. The result is a comfortable, handle-free mug that protects your hands without sacrificing heat retention.
How its made
Clay 3D printing
Clay 3D printing, also known as ceramic 3D printing, is an additive manufacturing process that creates objects layer by layer using a specially formulated clay material. Clay 3D printing is revolutionizing the field of ceramics, blending the rich tradition of pottery with the precision and versatility of modern 3D printing technology.
